Accomodations:
The Classic 36 has a reputation for high quality construction, economical operation, and dependable cruising performance. She is built of Philippine mahogany with twin Ford-Lehman 120 hp diesels and a full length keel below to protect running gear and give a good deal of directional stability.The interior of the vessel is the traditional quality teak interior that one has come to expect from Grand Banks. The aft cabin has a twin to starboard and a single (or settee) to port along with generous storage and a full marine head. Go forward and up three steps into the main salon. There you find an L-shaped settee and table to starboard with the lower helm station forward on starboard. On port is the galley with a settee aft. Forward and down three steps is the forward sleeping cabin which offers a large V-berth, good storage and a full marine head. This vessel offers easy access to the flybridge and upper steering station from the port side deck. The flybridge is fully enclosed and has comfortable seating for the helmsman, navigator and several guests.This vessel has been totally restored. The decks are sound, the cabin sides have all been replaced and all the windows have been replaced with a newer design that will prevent any future water intrusion problems. The hull is fully sound and the yacht is hauled out once a year for a detailed inspection before receiving new bottom paint.
