Accomodations:
During our visit it became quite apparent that the owners intent was to bring "Victorious" up to and beyond today's mechanical and structural standards while leaving her as original as possible. Exhaustive research and untold dollars went into finding the finest craftsmen and materials available for each specific task. Details that may have escaped more casual owner participation were addressed and the end result is a vessel that turns heads in every port while offering her owners the highest level of cruising luxury and safety. She is a superb representation of a golden age when craftsmanship, elegance, quality, and seaworthiness were all embodied in what many enthusiasts consider to be the "Queen of Any Fleet."While we've not had the pleasure of personally viewing every 57' Connie available today, we truly feel that "Victorious" is the standard by which all others must be judged.Interior The interior of "Victorious" has been completely refit with new carpeting featuring sound insulation beneath, all new headliners, the original salon sleeper sofa and barrel chairs have been re-upholstered, and all woodwork has been refinished or repainted as required. She features berths for six but will easily accommodate up to twelve guests in comfort. She offers new four zone air conditioning and heat including a dedicated unit for the wheelhouse and aft deck. The masters quarters offers twin berths with beautifully done custom cabinetry aft featuring a small work station and incredible storage. A completely private head with separate shower stall, new countertops and fixtures, and what could best be described as a closet opposite round out this very inviting space. Forward to port you'll find the VIP suite with separate berths and again a closet between. Directly across the companionway is the VIP head, also with new countertops and fixtures, and a separate shower stall. The toilets in both heads have been replaced with electric units and the holding tanks replaced with a dedicated CG approved MSD unit. Up three steps to the main salon where you'll find a very open space with absolutely beautiful appointments and flawless woodwork. As mentioned all soft goods have been replaced and seating re-upholstered. Abundant storage can be found on either side of the salon and the four roll top cabinets house the home stereo system with built-in speakers and also offer additional storage. Down three steps to the galley featuring a convertible dinette, new refrigerator/freezer, stainless double sink with new fixtures, four burner cooktop with hood, microwave oven, built-in blender/food processor and very generous above and below counter storage. Forward of the galley is the crew quarters with bunk berths for two and a private head with shower. The toilet in this space has also been replaced with an electric unit, again tied to it's own dedicated CG approved MSD unit. You'll also find very adequate storage and access to the forepeak of the vessel.Wheelhouse and Aft Deck The wheelhouse and aft deck area of "Victorious" could best be described as artwork afloat. True artisans were given free rein here and she glows with a warmth not often if ever found. Frankly, this space was very hard to leave. Everywhere we looked we came across another detail that impressed. Suffice it to say that Norm Abram from 'The New Yankee Workshop' could not have done a finer job. Here you'll find two custom L-shaped settees done in light blue ultra-leather, two wooden dunnage boxes, one containing the air conditioning/heating unit for the space, a full wetbar with icemaker, and the absolutely gorgeous helm with pilothouse seating. The helm features fully updated electronics and the seating cushions are done in the same manner as the settees. All wheelhouse and aft deck glass is clear

Additional Equipment:
Beginning with her acquisition in 2001, Victorious has been through three successful stages of restoration. The first stage was mechanical replacement and rebuild. This stage involved replacement of the generator, rebuilding of both diesel engines, replacement of fuel tanks and associated fuel lines, air-conditioning equipment replacement, water tanks, toilet fixtures, and the installation of two MSD treatment facilities both forward and aft. The electronic suite was completely replaced as part of stage one, as well. Stage two involved the complete renovation of all interior finishes throughout the boat. This included upholstery, carpet, headliners, teak decking, exposed mahogany, water heaters, sinks, light fixtures, all plastic laminate surfaces, and galley appliances. Stage three included a complete structural restoration of the hull, forward-deck area. All of the inner and outer planking was removed. Framing members were replaced and treated with penetrating epoxy and planking. This restoration replaced large portions of the chine line, the entire transom of the boat, and many of the below waterline hull planks. The stem was replaced, the keel bolts replaced in many locations, the stuffing boxes replaced on the shafts and repacked at the rudder penetration at the hull. Shaft covers were removed and reconditioned as part of stage three. The entire exterior of the boat was refinished and upgraded using modern finish material. As part of stage three, the electrical systems in the boat were replaced with custom Blue Sea and electrical distribution equipment. A Galvanic isolator was also installed to prevent corrosion of in-water metal. The bonding system in the boat was completely replaced to assure grounding of all metal throughout the boat. The end result of five years of loving work and attention is a pristine example of a motor yacht legend. You can be assured that this vessel will not require structural work, mechanical upgrades, or interior finishes for decades to come. Victorious is a better-than-new example of vintage boat building technology coupled with today s application of industrial adhesives and finishes not available in 1969.
