The Hatteras 42 Convertible represented a big step forward in convertible designwith her full width flybridge ( the first in any Hatteras model)and her bold,more aggressive exterior profile.Construction was on the heavy side,and considerable flare was added at the bow. "BILL COLLECTOR" has had a new Half Tower installed with a new lace on top and three sided enclosure and a new C.M.I. aluminum flybridge access ladder,the cockpit is a huge 110sq.ft. The two stateroom layout is large for a 42'Convertible with the galley down and a wide open salon.A stall shower is fitted in the double entry head.The interior has teak paneling through-out. A very comfortable offshore boat,the 42 covertible will cruise around 19 knots and top out around 24 knots. Owner just had new one piece side windows installed.
