1978 Mainship 34, 1978 Mainship 34, Introduced in 1978,the Mainship is one of the most popular small cruisers ever built. She was constructed on a solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull with a deep forefoot, slight rounded bilges,and a full length keel. The great appeal of the 34 is her salty,trawler-style profile andher superb fuel economy at better than trawler speeds. At 10 knots she burns only 6 gph and at 7 knots fuel comsumption drops to a remarkable 2 gph.
