1982 Hartmann-Palmer Yachts Inc Motoryacht, Built by Lien Hwa in Taiwan, the Hartmann-Palmer bears a strong resemblance to the Hatteras motoryacht. She was constructed with cored hullsides and features a wide beam, a long keel, and underwater exhausts to reduce noise. The traditional double-deck layout places the galley and dinette down from the salon level. The generous 12 x 14 salon dimensions are more than adequate, and the afterdeck is even larger. A curved staircase aft in the salon leads down to a spacious master stateroom with a tub/shower. A walk-in engine room separates the master from the guest cabins forward. No lightweight, the standard 450 hp GM 871s deliver a cruising speed of 10-12 knots when fully loaded and 17 knots flat out. This vessel has the square footage of a much larger yacht.
