Sportfishing magazine said of the Phoenix 33 Convertible: "If there is one boat that epitomizes the dual purpose fishing/cruising craft, it is the Phoenix 33 Convertible." She has a large cockpit with transom door, cushioned engine boxes, and room for a full-size chair. In the cockpit there is a locking rod storage locker. The cockpit's low freeboard was designed for the serious fisherman. The Flybridge is big for a 33' foot boat with seating for 5. For the cruiser she has roominess and spaciousness that makes her easy to spend time on. There is reverse cycle AC/Heat and a genset. She sleeps 6 comfortably. Accomodations:
By day the roomy salon has a large, convertible dinette to port and an L-shaped lounge to starboard providing comfortable seating. At night the salon can be transformed into a spacious sleeping cabin with accommodations for four adults; this, combined with the master stateroom forward, makes her a true six sleeper.Forward of the dinette is a home sized galley with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, and deep sink. There are plenty of cabinet/locker compartments above and below the galley's eight foot counter top. There is AC/Heat for the salon/galley area. Her head has a separate stand-up shower and natural lighting combined with plenty of electric light fixtures. It also features an electric head, exhaust fan, 120V outlet, and ample storage.The master stateroom offers an island queen, twin hanging lockers, lots of stowage, and four large drawers. It also features AC/Heat , stereo speakers, a skylight, and an overhead opening hatch w/screen.
