Accomodations:
All accomodations will require refit. Expect to determine wood work for all staterooms and install all components. She is as bare boat as you can get. However, if one has the vision this Grand banks can come to life once again.
Galley:
All galley components will be required along with plumbing, sanitary and wiring.Galley is layout to be forward and 3 steps lower than the main salon.A few windows will need to be replaced.
Electrical System:
As stated in the engine room specs the electrical system throughout the boat will need installed, complete with checkout of circuit breaker panel on main deck. The 120 volt system and 12 volt and 24volt systems will require installation. All light fixture and overhead lighting will require replacement.
Deck and Hull Equipment:
Railings need repaired a new mast [fold down] is required. Navigation lights, search light and radar mast will need to be installed along with a windlass and anchor. Deck fittings appear secure. Swim platform needs replaced.
This 42 grand Banks is a project boat. Her hull is tight and struts are secure. She will need props, shafts, rudders and hull painting. Top side she is the classic full width aft stateroom with total three stateroom layout. We have a yard nearby complete with a travel lift and graving dock and ample walk a round space for access. A person with ample time and the ability to obtain mechanicals and the like at reasonable numbers can have a Grand Banks for many years to come. She is now stored in a shipyard and accommodations can be arranged to work there too. The engine package and generator will need replaced and installed as well.
