Seldom do we see a vessel maintained to the standards of this vessel. Custom ordered new by this owner she is equipped with the perfectionist in mind. From her custom navy blue colored helm and windshield to her Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines producing 430 horsepower each and chosen for their quieter operation. The engines come with a fully transferable warranty that runs until March 2006. She has been fitted with a fully integrated Raytheon Electronics package and even has cockpit air conditioning. Accomodations:
Starting with the owners cabin it is finished in beautiful teak and features a queen island bed along the centerline, a large cedar lined hanging locker on the aft starboard bulkhead, drawer storage along with a large storage area beneath the berth and private access to the head. Just aft and to port is the head. The head has a Vac-U-Flush toilet, corian counter top with a wash basin and stall shower. Across from the head is a U-shaped convertible dinette that converts into into a double berth and the back folds up into a pullman berth. The settee is covered in "Milkweed" ultraleather. Galley:
The galley is located in the aft port corner of the salon. It has ample overhead, under counter and drawer storage. Electrical System:
The electrical system on Tiara Yachts are designed & built to the highest of standards. All of the wiring looms are fastened at short intervals to keep the wiring in place and to avoid wires from stretching and working loose. Also all wiring is circuit breaker protected. Deck and Hull Equipment:
The aft cockpit offers the optional fold down aft lounge across the transom, four (4) Lee rod holders, and a large fish box/ storage box with removable insert with a macerator. Up two steps and you are in the helm area. THe helm which is traditionally a dark gray gelcoat finish was customized at the factory and replaced with a navy blue gelcoat finish. This accent color was carried through onto the frame of the windshield as well as the dash running the full beam. Additionally a navy blue and gold custom boot stripe was added at the factory. Getting to the bow is safe thanks to the comfortable side walkways and the "safety" grab rails built-in along the window frames. The foredeck is spacious and offers plenty of room to lounge around. The Maxwell windlass is a power up & down model and is controllable at both the bow & at the helm station.
