How do I put a photo on the Internet?

Loading a photo onto BoatTrader.com is easy!

Before uploading, ensure that the photo showcases the boat. Remove any unnecessary background images from the photo using a photo editing program or your digital camera. Size the image to 100KB or less. From the File menu, select Save As and save the image as a Jpeg or Jpg file. You must select the file extension - Jpeg or Jpg - to properly save it as an image to upload. Simply renaming the file will not work. Tip: Save the image to your desktop for easy finding!

Don't have a digital camera? You can use standard snapshots and scan the photos to create jpeg images. Most photo developing and copy centers can do this for a small fee. Remember to save the photo onto a disk or your computer using lower-case letters.
