Find out what it's worth
This vessel is in a class all of it's own. She was built back in the days when style, glamour, comfort and prestige were sought after and Chris-craft was the name. Founded in 1884, Chris-craft was once the undisputed king of pleasure boats through out the United States. In the 60's & 70's about 50% of the pleasure boats manufacturered in the U.S. came from Chris-craft.Today, the quality still shows through from those early days. The interior, exterior, hull, decks and superstructure reflect the lasting effect of superior design, lay-out and manufacturing processes.Motoryachts today demonstrate a completely different first impression with the Euro-look styling. They do not render the pleasant open view of these older "classic" motoryachts (plenty of windows and nice sized). There is a great mixture of materials e.g., fiberglass, teak, mahogany, fabric blends, upholstery and furniture to present a eye pleasing surrounding that is not a completely plastic, space age and Euro-look. It is certainly more traditional and nautical! The interiors are more inviting, spacious, comfortable and pleasant looking than many of the much newer comtemporaries. These vintage Chris-craft's bulkheads, hull, transom, runners and stringers and overheads are thicker, stronger and better than many of the crafts. Years of traditional attention to detail and advanced design carried on through much of their history. Replacement value for this vessel would be well over $450K without all the electronics. In the last few years, there has been extensive updating and remodeling such as; new head liner, addition of 2nd 30 amp service line and powerful 16,000 BTU Cruise-Air heating and air conditioning unit. The galley has been changed slightly with new stainless double sink and fixtures. One of the heads has been changed to the quick, silent flush crown model. The bow pulpit and maxwell windlass has been added. It has plenty of new appliances and large double refrigerator in the galley area. Electric fuel pumps have been added just for easy of starting, no delay and it works great. The windlass is new. The vessel has plenty of equipment i.e., engine synchronizer, vhf radio, complete stereo system and plenty of controlled speakers. It has an automatic oil change system that takes the work out of preventative maintenance.Needless to say it is a very clean boat inside and out. The photos do not do it justice! The interior has been carefully decorated and tastefully done. On the starboard side of the hull amidship there is a slide door for easy access to the salon; along with the usual cockpit or bridge deck entry way. The aft stateroom has plenty of storage and has ensuite private head and shower. The aft stateroom has a vanity and lighting. It is powered by a couple of powerful 427 Ford Cobra 300 hp marine engines and is equipped with a 6.5KW gen set (which is plen
