This is a rare Charlie Morgan 38 the one that began a long series of 38 footers with hundreds sold and many still cruising today. With the apperance of a Bermadua 40, graceful lines and low freeboard she sports a long keel with Centerboard to optimize windward performance and comfort at sea. This particular 38 is rare in the fact that she belongs to a very talented Mechanical Engineer and Craftsman that has customized this vessel for long range cruising. The current owner has owned the vessel for over twenty years and has an impressive ships log that includes two Atlantic crossings, two Mediterranean crossings, from Texas to the Bahamas and through the Caribbean to Venezeula to Bermuda to the Azores through the Med to the French canals and as far east as Turkey. He just completed a two year cruise from Texas to the Bahamas the Exumas and to the Chesapeake. This type of experience is how you develop the knowledge to outfit a boat to this extent. There are custom drawers and storage throughout and no wasted space.
