Deck and Hull Equipment:
Rubrail replaced with PVC and SS cap rail from Bertram (2) 300W spreader lights Custom fabricated low profile bow rail All new SS cleats (6 in total) All new Thru hull fittings All new hinges, door locks, etc.
Completely redone and fully customized 31 Bertram with no expense spared. Diesel repower performed by DeMann Marine in Wilmington, NC winter of 2002-spring 2003. All other work was performed from Sept 13, 2004 and completed in June of 2006. 300hp Cummins 6BTAs give an easy 26.5knt cruise and 31knt WOT. Engines turn up 3000rpms which is 200rpm over rated WOT so these engines are being babied. All decking, flooring (interior and exterior), bulkheads, window frames, etc. have been replaced with West System epoxy fiberglass. All windows are new safety glass tinted windows, front windows have been replaced with fiberglass skin. Entire boat is painted with Awlgrip paint. All wiring has been replaced, new PVC rubrail, new SS cleats, new AC/DC panel, new 3.5kW generator, new air conditioning, custom interior layout, new cushions, new electronics and all new hardware as well. New bridge cap with single lever controls, RayMarine and Icom electronics, VDO gauges and Edson steering wheel. Engine boxes have been replaced and even has recessed cockpit controls in starboard engine box. Below deck all supports have been replaced, cockpit has indeck insulated fishboxes and the transom has a custom made insulated fishbox. Interior space has been maximized by moving the anchor locker forward 10 and moving the head bulkhead by 20 . All work can be documented with over 1000 pictures of work performed. Survey completed 2006.
