SELLER DESCRIPTION

The Westsail 32 was originally designed in Norway when, in the 1800's, naval architect Colin Archer designed safe and seaworthy boats for use in the North Sea. William Atkins converted the design for a pleasure yacht for blue water cruising. Later Wiliam Crealock refined the design and Westsail 32 was born. Double-ended, hand-layed GRP construction with an encapsulated classic long keel. These boats are well known for their strength of construction and good sailing qualities. The Westsail 32 is made of 12 layers of roven woving and chopped strand mat, set in polyester resin. The hull is solid and ranges from 1/2 inch to an inch in thickness.
