BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED LIVEABOARD CRUISING SUNDECK TRAWLER!!Designed as a conservative long range cruiser with full prop protecting keel, her semi-displacement hull is built with rounded bilges for a very seakindly ride offshore. Created back in the 1970s during the fuel crisis, the very economical Perkins diesel engines burn only 4 GPH at cruise which is quite desireable with todays rising fuel costs!This Gulfstar MK II was completely overhauled in 2000 by it's professional Captain/Owner that has now decided to part with his pride and joy! Every system and component has been replaced with new or, rebuilt to better than new. Just bottom painted in 5/08, it had all of the thru hull fittings below the waterline replaced as well as the valves. During the 2000 refit all engines were rebuilt, rebuilt transmissions, new windlass motor, generator engine rebuilt and armature rewound, new air conditioners, new stove and microwave, new refrigerators, new washer/dryer, new watermaker (currently pickled), new Electra San, new inverter, new teak & holly sole, new welded aluminum flybridge frame, new water pumps, all new opening ports and much more! Extensive logbooks, maintenance records and receipts of everything done to fine vessel to convey!

Accomodations:
Full teak interior-The MK II's full width aft deck allows for an enlarged master stateroom below with a centerline Queen size berth. The aft cabin also has a large head with a separate stall shower. There are plenty of hanging lockers and drawer storage. Going forward you step up into the salon with is quite spacious and has a futon type sofa,recliner chair,TV with VCR-and Stereo system. The inside Helm station is forward to the starboard side and near a side doors for easy deck access. Stepping down into the galley which is on the starboard side, the washer/dryer is to port. The dinette is opposite the galley and is quite large for 6 adults. This dinette can convert to a double berth. Proceeding forward to the port side is another head and opposite is hanging locker and more storage. Mechanical Equipment:
Twin Perkins Diesel Engines model 6-354 were removed and rebuilt in 2000. The starboard engine had 431.8 hrs and the port 419.4 hrs when they were overhauled. The Owner/Captain wanted to make sure all systems were in top shape when they traveled the Great Loop in 2001! The Perkins Engines have 1700 hrs since the major overhaul in 2000. Custom Stanless Steel Exhaust system was installed at that time, both shafts were pulled and trued and new propellers installed (orginal props aboard as spares), cutlass bearings were replaced. Galley:
Galley is down on the starboard side just forward of the lower helm. Both refrigerator/freezers, 3 burner stove and microwave were installed new in 2000.
