1979 CORBIN LES BATEAUX Cutter, After a seven year circumnavigation 2 EXTREME Corbin 39 is offered for sale. 2 Extreme is a solid cursing boat for the serious sailor. 2 Extreme was layed up in Canada in 1978; she is a center cockpit, cutter, 39 foot on deck in length, with a 12 foot beam, and draws 6 feet of water. 2 Extreme s interior is made from solid teak not plywood veneer, including the solid teak and holy sole throughout. Corbins are known for their rugged, heavy, world capable construction. Hand laid up hulls and the finest hardware, such as solid stainless ports are used. Because they are built in Canada, most are finished in the U.S. The interior of this boat was completed by a pro cabinetmaker. She was launched in 1984, and has been maintained by a meticulas liveaboard. A good alternative to a Hans Christian or Lord Nelson, with better accommodations, shallower draft, and a much lower maintenance exterior.
