Accomodations:
CC Rider is an exceptionally well-equipped and maintained vessel. She is extremely economical to own and operate, sipping only 2.85 gallons per hour at cruise speed (total for both engines). The boat is literally ready for the new owner to step aboard and begin cruising. She is in excellent mechanical condition and the new owner will fully appreciate and benefit from the extensive maintenance records and custom manuals that document the complete history of the vessel. This boat is well known in the trawler community as it has been the subject of numerous published articles. CC Rider was built by CHB, which is a well-known quality brand of Trawlers. Of the many Taiwan boat builders of the 1970â¿¿s and 1980â¿¿s CHB is still in business. CHB has always been considered one of the better-built boats from Taiwan. The well-known Ed Monk, known for his wonderful lines and great interior layout design, designed CC Rider. One of CHBâ¿¿s most successful dealers was in the Pacific Northwest; therefore, the vast majority of these boats are on the West coast. CC Rider was purchased in 1985 in Clearwater, Florida with owner maintenance from that time. One attribute of this boat that sets it apart from many others is that this vessel has cruised full time for the past four seasons on the Great Circle Cruise (Loop) (8,643 miles). It is set up for comfortable live aboard cruising. It has been properly used and maintained unlike so many other boats that are seldom operated and therefore lack attention. Since purchase it has been kept in Fresh Water. CC Rider is being sold fully found with cruising equipment and spare parts. A summary of the spare parts can be provided upon request. ACCOMMODATIONS The 45â¿¿ CHB Pilothouse Trawler has a raised pilothouse with two staterooms forward and large salon aft. The owner's stateroom is in the forepeak with island queen, hanging locker and numerous drawers and cupboards. The quest stateroom is to port which includes a double bunk, hanging locker, many drawers and shelf storage. Starboard of the guest cabin you will find the enclosed head area with tub/shower combination and a Jabsco electric head. A few steps aft and up puts you in the full width pilothouse with both port and starboard doors. The starboard side helm station has all instrumentation and controls directly in front of or above in an overhead electronics panel. With every pilothouse is a bench seat/pilot berth for those long passages. Three steps down from the pilothouse and astern brings you to the large, fully appointed, U shaped galley. Astern of the galley is the salon with large dinette. Open the double doors and walk directly out to the cockpit with easy access to the port and starboard walkways. In the cockpit you will find a starboard ladder which leads up to the flybridge. The flybridge is huge with seating for a small crowd. The bridge has a bimini top and bridge and helm covers.

1981 CHB 45 Pilothouse, This 45 CHB Pilothouse Trawler 1981, famously known as CC Rider , has been with the same owner since 1985. During the last twenty three years CC Rider has extensively cruised the inland water ways of the United States. It would take several paragraphs to tell all the adventures this vessel has been on with her owners. The owner of CC Rider has so much experience cruising that he is asked to speak at the Trawler Fests and other owner rendezvous. This vessel was also the feature article in PASSAGEMAKER Magazine in the fall issue 1999. With all good things, they must at some point come to an end. The owners have decided that this is the end of their years of live-aboard cruising with CC Rider. The vessel is being sold with all parts and manuals staying on board making for an easy transition from one owner to another. I encourage you to read the ad, look at the pictures and ask questions.
