If you're looking for a comfortable trawler the Grand Banks 42 is the way to go with its Proven sea capability and interior layout any owner would be proud to have her under their feet. Starting in the v-berth is a generous size berth with a hanging locker and various other storage draws and lockers. There is a private head, which include a manual toilet, H&C pressure water and shower stall with pull-around curtain. Also below the stairway is the primary entrance to a very nice and clean engine room. The engine room is roomy and bright so doing basic maintenance or any major work is manageable without being a gymnast. The twin Ford Lehman engines are yard maintained and have recently just been painted and look great. New exhausts and mufflers were just done and new 7.5kw generator was installed in 2001. Back to the main salon you'll find the normal Grand Banks design with a separate freezer/refrigerator, electric stove, refreshment cabinet, fixed drop leaf table, settee seats with new Ultra leather fabric and enough storage you won't be able to find that swimsuit until you go to sell her. The aft cabin has a queen size berth to starboard and a single berth to port, a semi walk in closet, private head with electric Jabsco toilet, separate shower stall, and again enough storage to loose stuff forever.
