SELLER DESCRIPTION

1983 Californian Sedan Trawler, "Fandango" is a traditional styled Californian Sedan Trawler benefiting from the Marshall family legendary design quality and layout. Wellcraft owned and built the Californian from 1978 into the late 1980s before retiring the model. The trawler design allows for easy passage along the side decks around the vessel facilitating fishing, docking and diving activities. Stable at anchor and underway for comfortable cruising.

Accomodations:
Aft is the cockpit which doubles as a lounging area and an efficient fishing/barbecuing platform. Twin teak sliding doors provide access to the Salon which is nicely appointed with traditional woodwork and has 6'5" headroom. One of the principal features of the Californian 34' is the abundance of windows which provide lots of ambient light and excellent visibility in all directions for sunsets and cruising. Forward in the salon to starboard, is the lower helm station for those inclement days on the water with full controls, VHF, and Garmin chartplotter. There is a pilot door to starboard for ease of operation and access to the wide, safe walk-around decks. The up galley gives plenty of room for two staterooms below. Down and forward is the v-berth with insert and additional bunk to easily sleep three. Behind the v-berth, to port is a twin bed (78 x 50) with private door and opposite to starboard is the enclosed head with sink, mirror, toiletries storage, electro flush head and stand-up shower. The large salon built in a/c unit is ducted forward into the port berth for summer sleeping comfort. The Dinette also converts to sleep two more giving berthage for seven total before using sleeping bags on the decks.
