Old Vagabum is not your typical 50 Marine Trader. She is an affordable long range cruiser with a spacious double deck interior and classic trawler profile. She is powered with low hour Lehman 135 hp diesels and will cruise at 8-9 knots with a range in excess of 1,000 miles. Her history is primarily freshwater with first two owners using her on the Potomac and current owner always inland.However Old Vagabum's custom floorplan makes this 50 walk-around unique. On the main deck the pilothouse area has been increased by moving a bulkhead aft to accommodate a small dinette. The galley has been completely redone with new appliances and granite countertops. On the lower deck the mid stateroom area has been completely modified to accommodate jacuzzi tub, much larger head/shower, laundry, fireplace and convertible bed!! While we are not going to characterize her condition to be pristine, we are going to commend her owner's ingenuity and vision in creating a very comfortable home for a traveling couple. However the purchase of a new 65' pilothouse now necessitates Old Vagabum's departure.
