The Hunter 34 offers a long list of amenities for comfort and convenience from her spacious seven-berth cabin to her large cockpit with pedestal steering. Hunter's engineering and design resulted in a very comfortable boat that performs well and can do well as a club racer. The Hunter 34 has a full-length internal frame and stringer system of unidirectional fiberglass bonded directly to the hull for added stiffness without extra weight. Chainplate loads are brought through the deck and distributed to the hull's internal frame and stringer system. The Hunter 34 rig's swept-back spreaders allow tighter sheeting angles for the Genoa; a smaller spar section reduces windage and interference with the leading edge of the mainsail. She is especially efficient upwind.Below, the roomy interior is light and well-ventilated and features an U-shaped galley, fore-and-aft facing dinette, a head with a shower, a chart table, spacious stowage, and full-sized berths for seven. The main cabin has a teak and holly sole and attractive wood joinery. 'Pegasus' was re-upholstered 5 years ago with light blue & white stripped upholstery in the main salon and fore and aft cabins. Her current owner has upgraded the boat with a newer knot-depth, roller-furling foil, electric bilge pump, and Windex. 'Pegasus' has a white hull and decks, recently painted non-skid (Blue), blue cove and boot stripes and blue canvas, including a refurbished Dodger.
