General Description The 42 Chris Craft Commander had a long production run (1970-90) under different model names. She was thoroughly redesigned in 1985 as the 422 with a new house, enlarged fly-bridge, teak interior and other changes. Actual Condition It is reported by the owner that the boat had water intrusion due to a faulty exhaust. Just completing four years of "over the top" re-fit. Complete Imron paint job. Complete new interior and instrumentation. 3 new A/C units. New windlass, battery chargers, water heater, head, water pumps, water and holding tanks, cutlass bearings, pss shaft seals, upholstery and bridge seats, fuel lines, exhaust system, and fighting chair.
