Wellington Pilothouse, Motorsailor, sailboat for sale in the Northwestern US. This stunning Wellington was custom built in the Wellington Yard, Jacksonville, Florida to the highest standards. She is a unique pilothouse, motorsailor with advanced design and very comfortable accomodations. Wellington designs have a relatively narrow beam and this enables them to perform very well. Shoal draft centerboard allows access to shallow waters and her rig is setup for easy handling. The hull and deck are both hand-laminated. Klegecell foam core is used for stiffness and insulation above the waterline. The fiberglass lay up was above industry standards and the entire vessel is very heavily constructed. Rich teak sole & joiner work throughout the interior cabin. The Pilot house design is very comfortable to motor sail in almost every sea state. This Wellington Motor Sailor has an extensive equipment list includes electric sail handling, a 12KW Northern Lights generator, newer furling mainsail, watermaker, hydrolic bow thruster, 2 units of reverse cycle AC, self feathering prop. Currently under cruising the Norhtwest. New bottom paint, cutlass, shaft, wheel overhaul and more in 2009.
