Accomodations:
New to the market. Owned by someone who really knows how to equip and maintain a boat. This is a beautiful and immaculately maintained Catalina 36. The interior is the very usable, spacious layout for which Catalina is famous. The forward stateroom has a generous vee berth forward, large hanging locker, lots of storage and great lighting and ventilation. Next aft and to port is the roomy head with shower, hot and cold water, teak grate, integral shower sump and a great vanity with mirror. There is additional storage across to starboard of the head. Next aft is the salon with the 36's "trademark" layout. There is a huge U-shaped dinette to port that converts easily to a double berth for extra guests. Across to starboard is the unique convertible seating area with twin seats with a small table between them. Storage is behind both settees, with bookshelves and cabinets throughout. Across to starboard is the sit down, forward facing nav station. There is easy access to the companionway, and lots of room for instrumentation. There are opening ports (all with screens), opening hatches with screens and 2 large dorade vents to provide great light and air throughout the boat. The interior features the beautiful teak joinery and new teak and holly cabin sole that make for a warm and traditional interior.
