SELLER DESCRIPTION

STAR CHASER is a 65' fast cruising catamaran with a full live-aboard interior. The boat is in very good condition and has been upgraded over the past several years by her experienced owner. Star Chaser is fully airconditioned, boasts a jacuzzi, 3 comfortable staterooms an expansive saloon and a huge cockpit for entertaining and relaxing while underway.Initially used as a charter catamaran the present owner completely refurbished the interior and uses the yacht for traveling and living on-board in the Caribbean. She is easily sailed by a couple. As he is still in business, he has a fully operational office with all communications on board. The experienced owner is selling STAR CHASER as he is moving on to a larger catamaran. History:The present owner has purchased the vessel from the original owner in 2002 and has refitted STAR CHASER in order for him to be able to comfortably live aboard. In this process the weight of the boat remained more or less unchanged as much unused equipment was removed. More importantly any new items added were placed in a optimized position mid ships. In 2005 STAR CHASER received a new rig as a result of running against a whale. No structural damage was recorded. The rig was completely replaced, including lower shrouds, new Dacron sails, trampolines, bowsprit and gennaker. In 2006 the present owner fitted the vessel with a new electric furler, an additional new 8 dinghy, a heavy duty all-stainless anchor chain and a US compliance gas system for cooking. This vessel is an exceptional sailing yacht and is a unique opportunity to own a thoroughbread catamaran with a spacious interior. As of August of 2007 STAR CHASER has completed a doublehanded transatlantic voyage with her owner. She is presently sailing in the Med. (Flag: St VincentRegistered in St Vincent and Grenadines in 2008)
