The 4788 continues to be one of the very best big-boat values and a layout that has stood the test of time. Introduced as the 4550 in 1984 , they were continually and systematically tweeked yearly until 1994 when they added two more feet which gave them additional space to the already spacious galley and salon areas. Entering the salon from the aft deck, you will find the "L" shaped sofa to starboard, then the bar, complete with ice maker, two occasional chairs to port, along with the wonderfully laid out galley. Down three steps are the three staterooms consisting of a VIP, with a double, guest with bunks and a master with queen and ensuite head. Up four steps is the spacious pilothouse with a copeous amount of space. Up a few more steps gets you to the flybridge , complete with helm and seating .
