1998 BENETEAU Cruising Sailboat Oceanis 411, Pettifoggery is an excellent example of the award-winning 1998 Beneteau Oceanis 411 Sloop. This model was named 1998 Boat of the Year and Best Value in the Full-Size Cruiser Category by Cruising World Magazine. The Beneteau Oceanis 411 is a large-volume yacht with a generous beam that is carried far aft for stability, allowing for a spacious cockpit, wide side decks and lively yet stable sailing performance. Her lines are clean and the cockpit seats are teak covered, providing easy maintenance and a luxurious appearance. With Roller Furling Mainsail and Headsail, all lines led aft to the cockpit, a full set of sheet stoppers, and large 2-Speed ST Lewmar Winches, the Oceanis 411 is easily sailed by a couple.

Accomodations:
The 2-cabin, 2-head interior layout features cherry cabinetry throughout with plenty of storage drawers, cabinets, and lockers for all your gear and clothes on extended cruises. The Galley is conveniently located near the companionway stairs to starboard and the large folding table in the cockpit provides an alternative Sunbrella Bimini covered dining room to the spacious fixed dinette forward of the galley. Board this vessel from the sugar-scoop transom or through one of two boarding gates on either side of the cockpit. The companionway is recessed forward under the large Dodger, protecting the stairway in all weather conditions. The lower steps are hinged and lift up for easy and convenient access to the engine and bilge pump. Aft to port is the Guest Stateroom with a queen size berth, small settee, shelves and a hanging locker providing ample storage. Light and ventilation are provided by an overhead opening hatch, side opening ports, and a 12V fan. Moving forward is the Guest Head with shower, vanity and easy-to-care-for white fiberglass walls and cabinets. Forward of the Guest and Day Head is the Nav-Station w. electrical panels and VHF above and the end of the port Salon settee cushions provides seating for the Navigator. Opposite the Guest Head is the L-Shaped Galley with double SS sink, stove, oven, microwave oven, and 12V Refrigeration/Freezer in addition to an extra ice box. The Galley is very workable, with plenty of natural light, teak cabinets, drawers, and generous counter space. Forward of the galley is the light and airy salon area with a large teak dinette table with U-shaped comfortable seating behind it for six, with shelf and locker storage above, below and outboard, as well as a book shelves on the forward salon bulkhead. Opposite is a full length settee. Kenwood stereo and Boss speakers are an added plus. Forward is the fully enclosed Master State Room with a walk-through with hanging locker and bench seating to port and Pullman style berth w/ storage beneath to starboard. Two overhead deck hatches, a 12V fan, and two opening ports provide plenty of light and ventilation. All the way forward in the forepeak, is the private Master Head, shower, and vanity, with ample cabinets and storage.
