Accomodations:
The general layout is the classic double cabin arrangement: an amidships galley/salon/dinette with full-beam master stateroom aft and VIP guest stateroom all the way forward, both with en-suite heads. The fully enclosed aft deck is above the master stateroom and the fully enclosed flybridge (fabricated of fiberglass/wood composite---NOT formica) is above the salon. Cleverly tucked away between the forward cabin and the salon is an office/navigation station with lots of space for computers, printers, books, and other accoutrements of shipboard management. Adjacent to this office is the entrance to the full-beam engine room. Notably, the Euro transom/swim platform incorporates molded-in steps for easy access. In fact, there are no ladders anywhere onboardonly wide steps with handrails surely to be appreciated by those with older knees.

Mechanical Equipment:
Access via hinged stepbox at forward bulkhead and well lit with six overhead fluorescent lights. Headroom is over 50 and there is good equipment access. Fuel tanks outboard of main engines. Drip pans under each engine. Airseps installed on DD 6-71Tis, possibly the best engine Detroit ever built in terms of longevity, compactness, economy (35 GPH @ 2100 rpm), and relative expense to maintain over time. Water lift mufflers are quiet. Primary fuel filters are Racor 500 for the 20kW Kohler Genset (660 hrs.) and Duplex (manifolded) SeaPro 300 DDA units. There is a full engine gauge set, plus start-stops, mounted on the portside forward bulkhead. Adjacent are the main engine and house batteries --- these, plus the dedicated genset battery, are charged by a Promatic 50A x 3 (1200 Amp/day) unit. Main battery disconnect switches. Kidde FE241 Fire extinguisher system. Oversized sea strainers and seacocks for the main engines. Of note are the fuel and freshwater plumbing: rigid copper lines, color-coded Twin engine room blowers 12 VDC Groco freshwater pump. 12 VDC oil change pump for mains and genset Spare propellers (fwd. berth) 20 Gallon hot water heater - 220 VAC and starboard engine supply Five zone Cruisair SMX A/C (forward stateroom, master stateroom, salon, flybridge, aft deck) with each unit having its own dedicated 220VAC raw water pump 110 VAC > HP Jacuzzi pump Dripless propeller shaft glands Engine foundations are steel, through-bolted to the main stringers Diamond plate bilge floors Reverse gears are Twin Disc, approx. 2:1 reduction (allowing normal prop size) Hatches in salon sole approx. 5 x 6 for major work in engine room

Galley:
Double sink in FRP with custom sink cover for one side Princess 3-burner Ceran cooktop Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer with indoor water and ice dispenser Sharp Carousel microwave/convection oven Black & Decker Spacemaker coffeemaker (built-in) Black & Decker toaster oven

Electonics and Navigational Gear:
Navigation: Throttles/clutches are Morse cable actuated Glendenning engine synchronizer Bennett trim tabs Ritchie Powerdamp compass WEMA fuel gauges port and starboard VDO gauges for engine hours (about 600 hours), oil pressure, gear oil pressure, water temperature, volts, tachs, and rudder angle indicator. DC breaker panel for lights, electronics, windlass up/down switch Three windshield wipers/washers Searchlight Electronics: Raytheon Ray Chart 620 Chart Plotter/ GPS Raytheon Ray Data Depth/Speed/Log/Water temp Raytheon Ray Pilot 650 Autopilot Raytheon R20 RasterScan 20 mile radar Raytheon Ray 220 VHF radio/hailer Seawatch TV antenna (under F/B eyebrow)

Electrical System:
A single 50 amp, 220-volt shore cord via a Glendenning Cablemaster supplies the main breaker panel located at the foot of the steps in the aft salon. There are two 110 VAC and one 220 VAC panels, each with its own ammeter and voltmeter. The 12 VDC breaker panel has a voltmeter and ammeter. The genset panel has an on-off switch, plus gauges for volts, water temperature, and oil press. There are three bilge pump auto/manual switches (one operates the fourth pump located all the way aft). The windlass on/off is here. For future electric dinghy davit installation, there is pre-wiring between the main panel and the transom. Wards Electric of Fort Lauderdale updated the main panel and made improvements to the electrical system as necessary including the installation of a galvanic isolator to prevent stray current corrosion while maintaining ground safety.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
Aft Deck: This hard-enclosed area practically doubles the entertaining space of the boat. Fully air conditioned, carpeted (light green with bound edges), and furnished with Lord Flanders faux rattan sofa, two chairs, ottoman (beige/green palm motif cushions), and glass-topped coffee table, this back porch provides the not-easily attained feel of casual elegance. There are no fewer than eleven windows (not including the port and starboard wing doors - double windowed - for side deck access) each with its own teak valance and custom mini-blind mounted with anti-rattle wires. The large side windows slide open, there is a portside aft window that hinges open, and to starboard is a similar window that combines with a half door allowing access to the Euro swim platform --- open air ambiance easily attained. The overhead is a custom bone vinyl with eight flush-mounted 12 VDC halogen lights and two fore-aft stainless steel grabrails. The forward portion, flanked by the wing doors, features a molded-in sink with gooseneck faucet, bottle storage, U-line Icerette icemaker (25 lbs/day), 25 RCA TV/VCR, 110VAC duplex outlet, cocktail glass storage behind teak-framed glass doors, SMX Cruisair A/C control (one of five zones onboard), intercom (one of five stations - flybridge, both staterooms, and salon), and a window to the flybridge. Of note is the drawer storage here and throughout the boat - dovetail joints and Formica bottoms found usually on only the finest yachts. Up three molded-in steps (teak step pads) to the flybridge. Deck Equipment: The Euro transom/swim platform features four molded-in steps (each with a courtesy light) from aft deck to the platform with stainless steel handrail assist. Stern cleats port and starboard. Starboard side recess for shore power cable (Glendenning) and TV/Phone inlets; adjacent freshwater fill cap. Deck plate for emergency tiller steering. Portside locker for hot/cold telephone shower, freshwater wash down spigot and dockline storage. Twin spreader lights on trailing edge of boat deck. Generator exhausts on starboard side --- well forward of the swim platform walking surfaces. Bow pulpit with Danforth-type anchor (approx. 40 lbs.) on chain rode Muir windlass with wildcat foredeck up/down foot switches and flybridge control Freshwater wash down spigot Port and starboard Hereshoff-type bow cleats with Skene chocks Welded stainless steel bow and side rails with telescoping gates for port and starboard side access Chain locker with foredeck hatch access includes fender storage Dock lines, fenders, and fender board Diamond pattern non-skid Bomar-type foredeck hatch with black vinyl cover Lower windshield shade and black vinyl cover Eyebrow and wing door courtesy lights. Portside locker for hot/cold telephone shower, freshwater wash down spigot, and dockline storage. Twin spreader lights on trailing edge of boat deck. Generator exhausts on starboard side --- well forward of the swim platform. Port and starboard springline cleats with stainless steel chafe strips on toerails Waste deckplate starboard Diesel fill plates port and starboard Custom white plastic shearguards with stainless steel half-round chafe strip at the shear as well as at the boot top from swim platform to amidships.

Additional Equipment:
Enclosed Flybridge: Access via wide steps. No ladders. Fully air conditioned with 16,000 BTU, which is plenty for a Florida August. This optional enclosure is aluminum/wood composite with FRP top; 360: visibility with sliding side windows and an aft hinged door opening out onto the boat deck. Matching green bound carpet and custom beige (with black piping) seat cushions help meld this level to the aft deck. Seating is bench-style (with storage under) to port and L-shaped to starboard (with corner table --- enough for eight, not including the Pompanette helm chair with its Todd adjustable footrest. There are switches for the overhead lights, aft spreader lights and flybridge eyebrow lights. A Sony 35w x 4 CD/AM/FM player pipes music to the speakers and is a separate system in addition to the salon unit. Power outlets are 12 VDC and 110 VAC duplex. Steering is Hynautic hydraulic and the wheel's rim is notably oversized which translates into added comfort for the captain. Forward Head: Just aft and starboard of the VIP cabin is the head which has a teak louvered privacy door. Similar to the Master head, the toilet is a Vacuflush unit, the bulkhead, overhead, and vanity are all mirrored, and there is an opening portlight, plus an overhead halogen light. The bi-fold shower door has a high threshold to keep puddles on the teak and holly sole (the entire forward accommodations area is teak sole) to a minimum. This shower stall has a soap and shampoo dispenser, teak floor grating, and an overhead light. Vanity is green Corian with a brass faucet. Brass freestanding TP holder. 110 VAC duplex outlet. The passageway outside includes three floor hatches for very good access to the shower sump, black water tank and it's overboard discharge seacock, A/C raw water pump and sea strainer and seacock, electric bilge pump and high water alarm switch, and a manual Whale Gusher-type pump with proper strum box pick-up. Notably, the hatch lands are FRP I-beams, which will handily outlast the wood cleats some other builders use. Master Cabin Aft: Three steps aft and down from the salon. Access is through a teak door with louvers at the bottom (similar to the others including the head doors to promote ventilation inside the boat). Carpeting is the same as in the salon. There is a large mirror on the forward bulkhead. The centerline berth measures 60 x 80 and is covered with a green floral print sham (pillows have matching shams). The stainless steel freshwater tank lives under the berth. The teak aft bulkhead has built-in bookshelves (with removable keepers) at the overhead level. At pillow level is a window/escape hatch with teak mini-blinds. Next, to starboard, is a locker door providing adult-sized access, with an overhead light, to the steering gear and other electrical/mechanical items (e.g., main shore power breaker, Glendenning Cablemaster, galvanic isolator) within the Euro transom/swim platform space. To starboard is a lighted make-up mirror and vanity, which includes a parsons chair and seating recess. Above, at valance level, are sliding/opening windows hidden behind green & white drapery. The portside has the same window and drapes. Under is a large mirror that runs the length of the five and a half foot long (by 21 deep) white mica countertop. Beneath is drawers and locker storage. Forward to port is the full-sized hanging locker, four more drawers, and a Samsung 19 TV/VCR. There are Halogen overhead lights and (2) reading lights. Master Head: Forward to starboard is the door to the head. Inside, mirrors abound, including the overhead, which really throws the light around from overhead halogens and the opening portlight. There is a Sealand Vacuflush freshwater head. The freestanding brass toilet paper holder is a classy touch. Hiding behind a bi-fold door is a small Jacuzzi bathtub and shower.
