2000 Precision Sloop, 2000 Precision Sloop, This Precision 28 sails very well, only draws 3 1/2 feet (great for cruising the Bay!), and has been lightly and lovingly used. Designed by th 8 time "Boat of The Year" winning designer Jim Taylor (designer of Sabre Yachts),the Precision 28 achieves her performance objectives of winning speed, safety, stability, and reliable handling. She features a fine waterline entry,substantial flare to the top sides foward, and powerful sections aft that taper to an only moderatly broad transom. The keel is an external lead casting that features a very carefully developed "end plate effect bulb" at the tip a well proven design that provides excellent upwind efficiency and stability. Inboard chainplates and genoa tracks allow for close winded sheeting angles. This is a comfortable cruising boat for a single, couple or small family. Sails are in great shape. Swim ladder on transom, 6' headroom, and bimini make this perfect cruiser.
