Three spacious, private cabins, with a large saloon to give you all the comfort you can wish for your sailing trip. The sailing yacht was constructed by its owner/skipper and was completed in 2002/2003.Her hull is made from steel and the deck is from wood. She has been designed for high stability and is very seaworthy. In rough seas you still feel comfortable on board. The spacious aft deck has a built in BBQ grill. The large foredeck has comfortable deck chairs, which can also be used during the sail. A canvas cover can be drawn for shade.A wide stair gives access to a platform for swimming. The keel of 8 to is fully withdrawable into the hull to allow anchoring in shallow waters near the islands. The handling of the sails, anchors, and winches are serviced by oil-hydraulics, from the saloon. OWNER COMMENTS: The boat was built in a small Yard in Thailand, according to the design of the famous German Yacht designer, Prof. Scharping. I myself being an Engineer supervised the construction. After successful Trials, I have received an operating license, by the Royal Harbor Department of Thailand. This was about the 5th Boat I have built in my lifetime. After launching the Yacht, I have started a charter business. I am now 71 years old. Be cause of age I also would like to sell my Charter business. The Yacht is laid out for charter business. There are already quite a Number of bookings and a buyer would have to fulfill the obligations until the End of the charter season. The sailing yacht handles easy by Oil hydraulics and it can be sailed single handed. The lead ballast keel can be fully withdrawn into the hull, and the draft goes from 4.2 m to 2 m. This is necessary since the sea around the islands in the Gulf of Thailand are shallow.Contact the listing broker, Mitch Gutcho, for more information.
