SELLER DESCRIPTION

This is the most highly customized Legacy 40 Sport Express we have ever seen. She was custom built for a HIGHLY knowledgeable owner who built two Legacy's and several other custom yachts! If your in the market for a very high quality yacht built to high standards like a Hinkley this could be the boat! "Next~Leg" has been professionally maintained and shows like a new yacht. She has all of the exterior teak you can put on this boat. If you are looking for a boat that stops people in their tracks on the dock you must take the time to see this pristine yacht. Her bottom and her sea keeping ability and legs are that of a much larger and faster sport fish. This boat has had the 500 hour service done (early) by Mac Boring (Yanmar rep) June 2006, and AC's serviced by Ocean Options, and Spicer's Marina service dept.. Accomodations:
"Next-Leg" has the nicest Legacy 40 Sport Express interior done to date. She is set up so that you can cruise this boat as a couple, OR have a second couple (or kids) stay on the boat with you for the weekend or a week easily! The forward cabin has a custom V-berth with four drawers below for storage. Over the berth and out board (under the side decks) there are four large aircraft style lockers. The hull battens and fwd. anchor locker bulkhead in this boat are ash to give the area a larger and brighter feeling. Aft of the v-berth, to port and stbd. are two hanging lockers, with caning on door panels. In the fwd. cabin mounted behind the cabin door is a full length mirror. There is also a 13" flat screen TV in the fwd. cabin. The head/shower area in this boat are separated. The head can be entered from either out in the salon/galley area or from in the fwd. cabin. The shower area to stbd. is accessible from in the fwd. cabin. In the shower area mounted outboard is a Slendine 110v washer/dryer unit. The main salon has a very nice U shaped galley to port, and a large settee running fore and aft to Stbd. The settee can convert to a queen size berth. The interior on this Legacy 40 is all cherry with satin varnish with a teak and hole sole through out, also satin. The cabinet faces were custom made for the owner and have the look of a raised panel door. All overhead hatches have sky screens (three), and there are 6 stainless steel port lights.

Galley:
Since the head/shower compartment were separated on this Legacy 40 the galley is larger then the standard galley. The Corian counters are, pyrenee, a green fleck. There is a sea glass custom back splash, for an added designer look. The galley area has an under mounted Norcold fridge, with a stainless steel door panel. The GE profile Microwave is also finished with a stainless front. A lift out on the galley counter top is an insulated ice box with a Seafrost 12 volt cold plate system (aft & outboard). A stainless steel sink is fwd. with storage under. Out board of the sink and still fwd. is a large counter lift out dry storage area. Deck and Hull Equipment:
This Legacy 40 has one if not the nicest bridge deck seating set up we have ever seen. From her high gloss varnished teak house sides to the teal green leather upholstery and twin Stidd slim line helm/nav seats with the optional teak ladder back look. Helm seat is mounted on a fiberglass box with an ice maker for cocktail time! Like fishing this boat seconds as a fishing rig too, with four rod holders, rod storage under settee, and Rupp Marine Radial outriggers, and color fish finder with water temp! All windshield are tinted a very light green.
