"Golden Dawn" is currently USCG Certified for 40 passengers through 03 July 2012. She is a modern version of the highly popular amphibous excursion vessels operated successfully in numerous waterside communities. If you are currently taking passengers out on your old steel WWII vintage amphib, it is time to upgrade to a modern fiberglass version that is much easier for your pax to board and powered, more safely, by water jet when cruising.A single UltraJet 305 marine jet drive is used for water propulsion in this 39' (10.34 m) amphibious tour vehicle, designed and built by TrolleyBoats, L.L.C. of Holly Hill, FL. This vehicle has USCG certification for 40 passengers and meets DOT and NHTSA regulations for a road passenger vehicle. This 38'-8" x 8'-6" craft is powered by a single Cummins ISC 8.3 diesel engine rated at 315 bhp. Water propulsion of up to 12 mph is accomplished with an UltraJet 305 marine jet drive via an Allison transmission and a transfer case. Forward, reverse, and steering in the water is achieved with an UltraJet joystick control system.She is an attractive vessel and will generate riders just by her appealing design.Her sellers are motivated and would like to see her move rapidly. She is part of a four vessel fleet that includes another sister amphib that is still under construction and two large paddle wheel replicas.
