2005 SEA RAY Sundancer, The 260 is the largest trailerable boat (without special permits) in the extensive Sea Ray lineup. This has an EXTENDED WARRANTY until 2011. It has only 170 hours; a Windlass; Northstar GPS and Fishfinder; full CAMPER CANVAS PACKAGE; rod holders. The boat was recently detailed and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. It has no bottom paint and has always been kept on lift. It's 100 hr service has been done. With its price tag this boat should reach a broad spectrum of buyers looking to step up from day boating to overnighting. Those accustomed to sport boats will find the transition to the 260 to be subtle, because it's narrow in the nose, and its beam widens gracefully to the transom. This boat even comes with an optional radar arch. The 260 is designed more for cruising than for quickness, but it leans easily into turns so the driver, while sitting in high command on the bolster seat, looks down on his portside passengers, who sit a rounded-off love seat. It's an easy boat to handle without the squattiness of some overnighters of similar size. As athletic as it may appear, the 260 actually aims more for comfort at a marina or at anchor. The forward berth uses filler cushions, as is custom, but these double as backrests for the lounge so you don't have to find a place to store them. There's enough room in the galley for a butane stove, a microwave and a 110/12V fridge. Thought even went into designing potholders on the stove to keep pans from banging around. There is a flip-down DVD player that can be run off a separate battery to make sure there's juice to the ignition. The all-fiberglass shower stall is fed 25 gallons of fresh water -- another reminder that the 260 Sundancer is wood-free. That means no mildew in the head and no rot in the boat.
