The Crusader 4100 medium speed ferry is a medium-speed passenger catamaran ferry of standard design with two symmetrical hulls, providing enhanced sea keeping capabilities in significant wave heights up to 2.5m. The hull and superstructure shall be made of welded marine grade aluminum alloy.The wheelhouse shall be arranged to give maximum visibility. Aft of the wheelhouse a mast of aluminum structure shall be fitted for carrying the necessary navigation equipment and radio antennas.Enclosed passenger saloon on the lower deck and open passenger seating on the upper deck. Passenger areas shall be provided with toilets and other amenities according to the general arrangement plan (GA).The aft main deck is arranged to carry 2 cars. These cars can drive on board over a hydraulically operated gangway.A cold cargo room, a dry cargo room and a passenger s luggage room are situated on the aft deck and fitted with weather proof roller doors opening to the aft deck.Cargo pallets and luggage trolleys can be loaded with a crane or brought aboard over the car ramp (Cargo pallets with a pallet jack).The safety principle of the Vessel shall be based on having two totally separated and independent systems for propulsion, steering, fire fighting, electrical power generation and distribution.Total Passenger Capacity is 418 pax.
