The Beneteau 40, Cruising World's 2007 Boat of the Year, is a classic in the making! A boat that increases the standards for what one should expect from a 40' boat. It lives like a larger boat, has wonderful sailing attributes, and can easily be managed by one person.

Accomodations:
What sets the Beneteau 40 apart from almost every other 40' boat is the amazing space of the interior. The single head configuration allows for the main salon to be very open because the space is allotted for the salon...not a bathroom. This extra space coupled with the nicely integrated galley and the exceptional amount of light that enters through the large fixed portlights, makes the boat truly feel much larger than 40'. The master stateroom is situated aft with a double berth set atwhartships - plenty of light and ventilation make for a very comfortable sleeping environment. Moving forward, the spacious head is to starboard with a separate stall shower and a privacy door into the aft stateroom. Galley is to port with a natural relationship to the rest of the salon. Main salon has an aft facing nav station at the end of a long side settee on the port side. There is a U-shaped settee on the portside which wraps around the salon table. Very roomy fwd. stateroom with V-berth is comfortable for a couple and arguably could be considered as the master. Fwd. stateroom has small vanity and desk set to starboard side.
