2008 Sabre 426

Accomodations:
The Sabre 426 is a moderate displacement cruising yacht with the performance attributes of lighter boats, yet offering considerably more comfort and on-board amenities. A heritage mixed with such modern construction and design as the use of vacuum bagged Divinycell PVC closed cell foam core and structural E glass, one of the strongest, lightest and most durable laminate combinations available today. Modern technology will be hidden below the surface, but the traditional Sabre details, as well as some new hallmarks, will be there for all to enjoy and admire. Thoughtful and elegant details that make each Sabre design a secure and beautiful sailing yacht, and a joy to own. -6'6" headroom in main and aft areas -6'4" headroom in forward sections -Aft cabin has 6'10" long full widht double berth. -Forward cabin has 6'10" Queen berth on pedestal.

Mechanical Equipment:
Westerbeke 55 HP auxiliary diesel engine. 4 Cylinder. Max Prop 3 blade feathering prop (installed option). Two Airconditioner units, 16,000 BTU and 7,000 BTU with high velocity blowers. Racor Fuel water separator 12 Vold 100 amp High Output Balmar alternator. PSS dripless shaft seal with bronze strut.

Galley:
The U-shaped galley is both functional and conveniently located at the base of the companionway, within easy reach of the cockpit. Large ice boxes are found aft where the most volume is available in the hull shape, and a front opening door provides convenient access to the items in the bottom of the refrigerator. Stainless steel sinks are situated on the forward arm of the galley, as close as possible to the yacht's centerline. A convenient under-counter dish locker is located out-board and three large lockers are provided for dry goods. Many drawers are available for utensils and cookware. -Sea Frost 12 V DC refrigerator in icebox. -Propane Force 10 Stove and oven. -Activated Carbon water filter. -Double icebox with two lids and front opening door.

Electrical System:
Standard battery supply is four Group 31 DCM batteries for the house and one engine start battery of the same capacity. A standard AC Inverter is provided as well as an emergency cross over switch to link the two battery banks. Optional AGM batteries available and installed.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
Contrasting non skid color on deck. Chainplates are stainless steel, thru-bolted to chainplate bulkheads of solid fibreglass and finished with cherry wood veneers, bonded to the hulls. Grounded to the keel. Emergency tiller. Edson Model 402 wheel steering with 42" comfort grip destroyer wheel, pedestal guard and brake. Richie SP 5 compass mounted in stainless steel binnacle. -All winches are Lewmare ocean Series -Electric winches are an available option. -Navtec Rod Rigging -Custom Stainless steel anchor roller. -Custom Bimini and dodger with Stainless steel frame

Sails and Rigging:
