Captain's Training
At Marine Concepts our customers get more than a great deal we help them learn to be great Captain's of their new boat with Captains training.
Many folks move up in Boat size every few years we help educate our owners on what it takes to handle their new boat. Marine Concept's has three-licensed Captain's that can spend between 6 to 12 hours with an owner to help you become familiar with your new boat. They review systems like electronics, A/C and Heat, Galley Panels, Electric/Generator hook-ups and Head and Water systems. These can be different from one boat to another or from one maker to another. Additionally our Captains review and practice docking the boat with our owners, this is hands on training that can save you thousands in damage from hitting a dock and damaging your hull. Our captains also take you beyond the dock to show you how to navigate your new boat and how to read those electronics while underway. This is not just for the boys we know that for many boating is a family experience so we include the wife's and other members that will be using the boat.
No matter who's job it is to drive everybody on board needs to learn how to use the VHF radio in case of an emergency and how to get back to dock or provide emergency personal with your location. Everybody's safety is Marine Concepts first concern.
Insurance
Insuring your new boat is made simple at Marine Concepts, we provide our customers with an application just after survey so we can help you find the correct coverage for you and your boat. If we can't provide you with a quote that meets your needs we can help steer you in the right direction to an insurance company that meets your needs.
Financing
Purchasing a new boat comes down to Financing for many. At Marine Concepts we have relationships with dozens of banks via a network of brokers that we work with everyday. So we can handle the simple loans to the hard to finance loans and self employed loans. Our finance team has been able find suitable loans for customers that have been told no by other dealers. Coast Guard Documentation and Registration
Getting started right starts with the proper paperwork and documentation. Marine Concepts understands the needed Coast Guard Documentation and State Registration. Without this paperwork you cannot legally be on the water. Marine Concepts will get the sellers the Coast Guard Bill of Sales signature and file the application for the transfer of ownership with the Coast Guard.
Then we track that information through the Coast Guard. Additionally we provide a running package; this is your temporary paperwork until your official paperwork arrives in the mail. For small boats we also handle the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries where we register and file all fees to make sure the title is done correctly and quickly.
Warranties
Marine Concepts know that the cost of unforeseen repairs can make owning a boat not much fun. This is why we offer two different extended warranty companies. These warranties are not just for new boats but boats as old as twelve years. So making a pre-enjoyed boat really enjoyable to own is as simple as an extended warranty.
